About Shoenail Ranch

Welcome to Shoenail Ranch,

If you want more pictures or information on any of my horses, please email me at ruth@shoenail-ranch.com. Click on any of the thumbnail pictures for a larger version of the same picture.

My good friend and neighbor south of the border, Mike Maynard, had a terrific son of Dual Pep. His name is Dynamic Dual and I have several 2009 foals by him. For more pictures and information on Dually go to his pics page.

I recently sold my good stud Tabasco Hickory. Tabasco is a NCHA money earning son of High Brow Hickory and out of a daughter of Smart Little Lena. Tabasco went to live in Missouri and will be doing some penning and ranch cutting there. He is a blast to ride and very cowy so I know he will be enjoyed by all. I have some nice 2009 and 2010 colts by him. For a closer look at Tabasco go to his pics page.

I bought a neat stud, Mr Pistol Lena, and I have had a lot of fun riding him. He is an own son of Playgun and out of a daughter of Gallo Del Cielo. He has a great disposition to go along with his conformation and size. He is promising to be a good Reiner and using horse. We went to a ranch cutting and really knocked their socks off. For more pictures and info on Pistol go to his pics page.

If you truly like a "horse of a different color", then you will love Mr Silver Poco Pine. He has that neat brindle coloring that makes him stand out in a crowd. Gus is by Zippididdodah and out of a Mr Moxie Man mare. He is big and correct and a beautiful mover. Check out Gus on his pics page.

And then, on the other hand, if you are into halter/performance horses this dual registered stallion might suit you better. His name is (AQHA) CTS Watch Joe Dude or (APHA) Watch Joe Dude. He has an ROM in halter is quite a looker. Check out his pics page.

Check out this neat pair. This is Whitney Kennedy and her gelding Slick, aka Bueno Hickory. Her parents, Shawn and Heather Kennedy, thought they bought a ranch gelding but Whitney changed their minds. Now they have a little girls dream of a show horse.  She placed third in her class and it was her first show. You go get 'em Whitney. I'm proud.
