Welcome to Shoenail Ranch,
If you want more pictures or information on any of my horses, please email me at ruth@shoenail-ranch.com. Click on any of the thumbnail pictures for a larger version of the same picture. Unfortunately, I lost my ApHC stallion, Hi South Wind, he was the "all-around" horse of my lifetime. He was pointed in games and the kids rode him in the high school rodeos. I have one "05" filly for sale by him. My good friend and neighbor south of the border, Mike Maynard, bought a terrific son of Dual Pep. His name is Dynamic Dual and he will stand stud here in Texas. We are expecting great things from him in the future. For more pictures and information on Dually go to his pics page. I have purchased a new stallion, Tabasco Hickory. Tabasco is a NCHA money earning son of High Brow Hickory and out of a daughter of Smart Little Lena. I put him back into cutting training in January of "07", he did well and earned some money but was plagued be an old injury and was not able to stay sound enough for continuous competition. I am planning to do some showing myself and just have some fun with him. For a closer look at Tabasco go to his pics page. If you truely like a "horse of a different color", then you will love Mr Silver Poco Pine. He has that neat brindle coloring that makes him stand out in a crowd. Gus is by Zippididdodah and out of a Mr Moxie Man mare. He is big and correct and a beautiful mover. Check out Gus on his pics page. This next pair have become my favorites. Jay Ray 's attitude and commitment to this gelding is truly heartwarming. He has taken this horse from a baby colt to what he is today, a winner. This gelding is by Taylor Made Buck and out of Go Ketchum Belle. Congratulations to Jay Ray and "Coke" on another fine job at the 2007 state horse show. Keep up the good work guys! I am so proud of what you both have accomplished. I'm told "Coke" really likes the cows best. We'll see what 2008 has to offer this neat pair. What a fine team these two make! Job well done, Jay Ray! I'll post new pics of this dynamic duo as I get them.
